Jun. 28, 2019 @ Thailand-Bhutan Journey "From Phuntsholing, Bhutan Arrive at Destination Thimphu, Bhutan"

Finally, our caravan has passed the 3750 kilometers distance routing from Thailand to Thimphu, Bhutan.

In the midst of a warm and great welcome from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bhutan, the ceremony seemed to be a simple welcome. But for people here, it is the highest honor. After completing the ceremony, we went to the hotel which is one of the sponsors of this trip. After putting the bags at the hotel, Bhutan Embassy is hosting a caravan reception which has succeeded in bringing vehicles that Thai people travel from Thailand to Bhutan according to the 30-year Thailand-Bhutan Friendship Drive project.

The caravan has departed from the hotel in Phuntsholing. From 08:00 AM, we traversing the curved hills, and the atmosphere makes us enjoy and never boring. Because it's really like a fairytale city. Our cars ran through the fog along the path that followed the mountain until coming to the city was very welcome. We drive through the border town, one of which was informed by the radio that here is the birthplace of the Ambassador of Bhutan to Thailand, which is a peaceful city, mainly focused on agriculture in the cool atmosphere.

Drive past the route, we see many colorful flags feel like we are in the temple festival, but it's not. Because these flags are the symbol of auspiciousness of this country. People liked to put them along with the mountains that pass through because they wanted the wind to blow their greeting to their people in every breath, which is a reminder to live in persisting.

Tomorrow will be the day that we will travel to Thimphu city, and will cross to another city the next day. We must say that the Thai people have received the highest honor in this country.
